What Are The Signer Requirements?

As technology advances, fraud remains right on it’s tail. To be sure your closing is secure and compliant signers must have access to:

  • Current, Valid Photo Identification

  • A smartphone, tablet or computer with audio & visual capabilities

  • Be either physically located within the United States, a member of the US military overseas or on a US vessel, or a United States Citizen physically located in a US Embassy or Consulate at the time of signing

Which Counties Participate in
E-Recording?

County Registers of Deeds manage public records including real estate deeds. While many counties participate in E-Recording you can verify if your county will be able to process your electronic closing documents.
