After growing up in Northern Virginia and attending Radford University, I found myself drawn to the coast and made the Outer Banks of North Carolina my home in 2009. I spent seven years building a successful career as a local insurance agent, where I discovered my passion for working closely with homeowners—a passion that naturally led me to real estate. In 2019, I became a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and REALTOR®.

Since then, I've had the privilege of guiding nearly 100 clients through the home buying and selling process, from first showings to final closings. Working in a market largely made up of second homes and investment properties, I quickly noticed a common challenge: many of my clients had to close from a distance by way of a Certified Signing Agent, often without any of the professionals who had supported them throughout their transaction present at the closing table.

As a North Carolina Public Notary commissioned in 2019, I launched OBX Mobile Notary Services in 2024 to provide notary and signing agent services to locals and vacationers closing away from the professionals that guided their way. Drawing on my dual industry experience, I executed nearly 100 successful real estate closings within the first year, in addition to providing other notary services.

While remote closings with Certified Signing Agents offered convenience for my own real estate clients, I realized they sometimes lack the personal connection and expertise that make all the difference at the closing table. I wanted to be able to attend closing and support my buyers and sellers. That realization—combined with the passing of the North Carolina Remote Electronic Notarization Act—inspired me to launch Waveside Closings.

My goal is simple: to create a more connected, confident closing experience. Waveside Closings gives borrowers and homeowners the option to meet with the professionals they trust, even from afar. By bringing lenders, attorneys, and Real Estate Brokers together at the closing table—securely and seamlessly through remote technology—I offer a more informed and reassuring process as a dual-industry, experienced Signing Agent.
